As my piano teacher once said to me a few weeks before a major competition, after arriving at a lesson yet again having barely practiced, "You have the potential, Brenda, but why be mediocre? Truly, there is enough mediocrity in this world. Why not strive to be exceptional and be among the rare few who focus and practice?" I did not win the competition – I placed second – and learned my teacher's lesson well.

Striving for excellence is our goal at Crichlow Actors' Studio, or CASt as we call it. As in life, it takes time to learn the rules. But if you do, you can play hard and play well. That's exactly what we try to instill in our students.

CASt instructors provide a nurturing and attentive environment where you can learn the rules, express yourself, and realize your aspirations. Trust me, it's not an easy thing to do - and it's certainly not for everyone. But it may be for you!
